Cosplay Pride Event
@senchacosplay: Join me in celebrating and uplifting the local queer cosplay community with a cosplay pride event! 🌈 Whether you identify with queerness or allyship, all are welcome to attend! We will have food, music, games, and our prizes will be centered around BL / GL media. Cosplaying as your favorite doomed ships is highly encouraged! ✨️
We will be fundraising for a queer non-profit, which will be confirmed and announced at a later date.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 28th, from 1pm-5pm at City Plaza Park (1098 Lexington St.) in Santa Clara, CA. Location is tentative and may be subject to change.
Parking is free. Please consider bringing blankets or outdoor seating, as well as food for yourself or others to share. This will be a potluck/BYOF event. The park space features a gazebo and a small library.
🌈 No live steel OR gun props will be allowed.
🌈 Keep any 21+ activities away from the gathering space.
🌈 All private areas must be covered. Keep your cosplays appropriate for a public park.
🌈 Our events are queer, BIPOC friendly spaces, and discrimination will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, body shaming, etc.
