@prismpowerparty: Introducing… “MAKENAI!” – a free anime dance party at @zeroloungela in Hollywood!
Named after the chorus of “Sailor Star Song” and translating to the hero spirit of “I Won’t Lose,” MAKENAI! is a monthly dance night rotating in themes and genres.
Our debut will celebrate the smash hit ARCANE that captured the cosplay community by storm with a diverse cast and unique animation style. 🌀

🏹 MARCH 27 – Rumiko Takahashi Night, celebrating the famed mangaka with DJ sets dedicated to her three most major series: Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, and Inuyasha!
🌸 APRIL 24 – Cardcaptor Sakura & Shugo Chara Night, combining together two of our favorite pink-themed magical girls with decorate-your-own card and egg stations for attendees!
🧟♀️ MAY 22 – Tomie & Junji Ito Night. Originally planned for January, this night will celebrate all things horror! If there’s interest, we’d love to organize a Tomie mask workshop earlier in the month for fans to make their own!

While the event is free, we will be accepting donations for @peoplesstrugglesfv. ❤️ They organized evacuation rides and donation distributions during the fires, have defended LGBTQ+ students, and have helped undocumented families stay housed.
More info will be posted in our stories and updated on this post closer to the event, but the current request so far is baby supplies: diapers, pull ups, baby wipes and formula.
