Makenai! Rumiko Takahashi Night
@prismpowerparty: Join us on March 27th for a Women’s History Month celebration dedicated to the incredible Rumiko Takahashi! 🎨
She has been a longtime manga heavyweight, contributing several defining series to the industry over her career that has spanned almost 50 years! Her work has been cross-generational and we’re thrilled to dedicate our first WHM to such an icon! 👸
We’ll be traveling through three of her most tentpole series throughout the night, opening with a future funk set dedicated to Urusei Yatsura, then delving into Ranma 1/2 inspired tunes, with Inuyasha’s half-human, half-demon spirit leading us on the final lap.

🌸 APRIL 24 – Cardcaptor Sakura & Shugo Chara Night, combining together two of our favorite pink-themed magical girls with decorate-your-own card and egg stations for attendees!
🧟♀️ MAY 22 – Tomie & Junji Ito Night. Originally planned for January, this night will celebrate all things horror! If there’s interest, we’d love to organize a Tomie mask workshop earlier in the month for fans to make their own!

👽 JULY 24 – Dandadan! Let’s celebrate the release of season 2 with everything paranormal and spooky!

This month we’ll also be highlighting the work of @wia.animation which advocates for gender equality in animation globally. 👯♀️ Please support their work with a donation if you are able!
Moving forward, we’re planning to have raffles to accompany fundraisers where anyone who donates to a highlighted org or charity will receive a raffle ticket. 🎁 We’ve got some very exciting things in the works for April and are excited to debut this new development soon!
